I've having a bit of a problem trapping the F1 key in a Windows
application. Within PreTranslateMessage I'm checking for both VK_F1 and
VK_HELP.. the trap works but continues to display the dialog saying that it
can't find the help file. Essentially what I'm doing is when the user
presses F1 their default browser is started and goes to an online help page
- this works but I'm still stuck with the dialog complaining that Windows
couldn't find the .hlp file..
I'm using VC++ 6 ...
If anyone can offer any clues as to how to prevent this I'd appreciate it..
