Hi Malcolm,

I read that the firmware update was mainly to stop people hacking the PSP.
I would leave it at version 1.0 until I really needed.  Maybe there is some
other fixes as well with the update?  Have a read of the link below they
urge people not to update!

Myself I like to fiddle and make things do what there not supposed to do ;)
I like the idea of the emulators to play different types of games.

I know a few on here already have Sony PSPs - has anyone already upgraded
their firmware to v2.0?  What version and on what machine did you use - NA
or JP?
