Argh, that old chestnut, rtfm ;)

i like the sound of ftp upload in v7.

is v7 a payable upgrade or a free one ?

I did read about the "tracking" facility, where one static camera
is
a reference and then the PTZ camera can track objects, would quite
like to try that as the PTZ is pretty powerful with a 22x zoom and
works lovely on RS485 via the GV-Net interface.

I guess it's just a case of getting it cabled up and then playing
about with all it's facilities then.

I was purely wondering if there were any things that people had been
caught out with before that may help me avoid making similar
mistakes, but it does appear it's pretty much plug and go.

Cheers
Geraint.

v7 now adds the simultaneous ability to upload images to an FTP
server. This way, you now get one or two frames per second as still
JPEG's.
