LD11 and trailing edge dimmers

  • Subject: LD11 and trailing edge dimmers

Hello,

I have recently ordered some italian LV lighting that have built-in
transformers compatible with trailing edge dimmers (IGBT technology).

I currently have several LD11 DIN mount dimmer modules (purchased from
letsautomate). Will these LD11 dimmers work with the transformers? The
letsautomate website claims that the LD11 modules only work with
leading edge type dimming. However, the following document suggests
that the LD11 units will work with these trailing edge dimmable
transformers:

(search for Trailing Edge - and look at LD11 spec)

I don't want to damage these transformers unnecessarily.

Ben.
