Subject: Re: [ukha_d] Ebay Aircon - update

I visited my brother's house yesterday - he had just had his =A3330 Ebay
special Aircon installed and I have to say it rocks. He has positioned it
at the top of the stairs in an effort to do the body of the (open plan)
house and it was working fine - quiet and cold - it would easily handle a
large room (it is rated at 18,000BTU IIRC). The internal fan unit is slim
and looks OK, the external compressor whilst not being very elegant looks
O=
K
but would be best obscured ) Made a significant difference in a few
minutes. I am actively trying to convince my wife that we need to have one
in at least 2 of the roms in the house. They are (possibly literally) an
absolute steal.

My twopenneth.

Tim.
