[OT] Laptop insurance

Can I ask what you guys with laptops do about insurance cover for them when
you're out and about on the road?  Do you just take the risk,  have it
covered under your home/business policy, have a separate policy either from
the manufacturer or an independent?

What cover does it provide, for example anyone get a replacement laptop
while on the road?  Anyone any experience of actually claiming on their
insurance?

Having looked into this for my own new laptop over the past few days the
options are numerous and get even more complex if you start to look at
foreign travel!!

Any help appreciated...
