I just saw the 18,000BTU split A/C unit available for £300 BUY IT NOW from
Ebay at my Brother's house.
It wasn't installed yet (the AC man has quoted £300 to install which seems
steep to me) but the quality of the construction, finish etc. was great and
looked worth at least double what they were asking. Just in case anyone is
wavering!
No affiliation etc. I will report on the performance once it is installed -
