There are several systems that include internal tuners for terrestrial TV
but they are all analogue. As there are only 5 Terrestrial Analogue
channels
in the UK (only 4 in an awful lot of it) there seems to be little point is
having analogue tuners built in, especially when Freeview boxes are now
down
to £30 and give you a load more channels as well as radio stations.

Exactly

You would only need single CAT5 cable to each room.

There are several basic Matrix switchers that just take AV in and out that
can be used to feed the KAT5 units. Now that the Mk2 units are in
production
my time has now been freed up to finish developing the switcher.

The KAT switcher will route IR signals from any room viewing a source to
that device. There will also be the ability to select a source as
"Exclusive" (anyone can select it to watch but only you get
control), or
"Private" (only you can watch and control it) for when more
specialist
programs are one :-)

Keith
