Simon,

There are 3 decoders known to work with MCE, WinDVD, PowerDVD and the
aforementioned Nvidia. All have 30 day trials that you can download
and play with. Many people don't realise that MCE doesn't come with a
decoder as they often have one of the above as an OEM product with a
DVD burner but this is normally V5 of either WinDVD or PowerDVD and
both are now at V6. Once they install the OEM version MCE uses it and
all works but it isn't always MCE at its best.
