Whole house DC Power supply

I'm sending this to both the UKHA and SB lists as I cannot remember where
I've seen this.

I know that someone on the list has a DC distribution system that they have
included in their selfbuild. I can even see the pictures in my mind but
can't for the life of me remember who it is. Basically I'm looking to do a
similar thing (driving CCTV camera and the like) and would like some
details about what and how they implemented it.
