Hi James,

Thanks for all your responses.
It was all sounding lovely, and all sounding like exactly what I need
except.....

Noooo!!! This is the missing piece of the jigsaw :(

Okay so in your example, six people know Fred.
If one of them updates Fred's details in their outlook then this gets
synched to the master address book.
I'm not quite clear then on whether this gets synched to the other outlooks
that know Fred?

I get it that the call info appended to the notes gets added to all the
outlooks, just wondering about a single person making a change.

That would indeed be nice, but if all outlooks were synched to the central
database then you kind of achieve that result (albeit with everyone having
a
local copy of the central database) for little or no effort since you seem
to have the synching code all there...

Finally, and this is where I have failed to get to grips with xAP (or xPL)
before - is there an idiots guide somewhere to getting xAP installed, with
the xAP desktop, with this outlook funkiness?

Cheers,

Tony
