That would do the job, but the frame isn't necessary to make a neat job of
it.

I've used something very similar to the metal enclosure you found there,
but without the
other frame inserted. Take a look here to see mine:

It's just a metal enclosure with plywood in the back, DIN rail and trunking
screwed in
where required. It all depends on how good you want to make it look.
