I'm still happy with our 2Mp Canon A40- a bit big by todays standards, but
does us for Holiday type shots.
I'd say that 2Mp to 3MP it's probably comparable to a decent APS camera.
It really depends what you want to use the camera for.
Take a look at www.stevesdigicams.com to get an idea of what's availible

Please can anyone recommend a good digital camera. What number of
megapixels is best: as many as you can afford? Do smaller MP produce
noticably poorer pictures?
