Re: Fw: Re: Mailing List 6th Birthday: now Xlobby

Hi Gareth,

Take a look at this device.

http://www.woodhead.com/gomig.html

I have one sitting on my desk at home for a project I am doing for
someone. They are really neat and run Windows CE.NET 4.2
You can programme it with free software from Microsoft or use the built
in web browser to connect to a server etc.

Has a wired Ethernet interface or you can use the PCMCIA slot in the
top. Comes with a really neat desktop cradle and can be battery powered.
Does all the usual CE stuff like suspend, low power etc

The display is a 6.5" TFT and is really nice and bright. Uses a MediaQ
graphics controller so is pretty quick on the display front.

I think the price was around £1300 for one offs, but in quantity I am
sure it can be brought below £1000. Bulk buy maybe???

Regards
Dave...
