I agree it's not exactly heaving. Expect a response normally within a
couple of days. UKHA_D spoils us, in that we typically get responses
within minutes :-)
My guess is that the person who'll you'll ultimately need is Dave
Brand to sort out the Rio booting stuff. He wrote that bit of the
Windows stuff.
I think it's fair to say that the vast majority of JRec users are on
linux.
