C-Bus (Saturn Switch)

Hi,
C-Bus is all new to me! I was looking at the Saturn C-Bus switch. Do I
need other equipment to use this switch it mentions that it is part of the
C-Bus network or does it work as a stand alone switch. Do I need a piece
of
equipment in my Node 0 that operates all my C-Bus equipment? Does anyone
know web pages that explains how C-Bus works? Any help would be
appreciated.
