I went for names that I remember from my childhood:
Bill & Ben - File and Backup servers
Bagpuss - PDC
Zebedee - Development box
Orinoco & Wellington - Laptops
Roobarb - HTPC
With a domain of 'Trumpton'
Wanted to add something from Capt. Pugwash but SWMBO didn't like the idea
of
logging onto a machine called Master Bates :-))
Steve.

Since I'm an amateur astronomer I went for asteroids as a theme.
My main machine was Ceres, now relegated to file server duties since the
newer, faster Astraea arrived.
Vesta is my astronomical image capture and processing box, and my laptop
is Pallas.
I've also got Juno which is going to be the media server eventually, but
is getting used as a sacrificial machine for some spammer tracking I've
been doing.
the good thing about asteroids is there's over 10,000 named ones, so I
shouldn't run out of computer names any time soon :))
