Oooh sorry, I meant a touch screen overlay for the 'control' pc rather
than for the big screen ...

Unless one watches tv on the small screen.. Thing is, I'm a bigger fan
of audio than I am of film, so I guess I'd be using a control pc as a
control pc.

Do you really want to watch a film on a screen covered in fingerprints?
I don't not to mention they normally look naff.
