Fw: Comfort to Garage Door Opener

My wired door opener has three buttons - a large white one to top/close
the door, and a light and lock button.

So maybe it sends different voltages to do different things - ie just put
the light on (the 40w light in the opener itself)

Not sure what make the controller on my garage door is, but I do know it
is 24V...

You could always use the comfort relay to drive a 24V relay.

Is it a simple up/down 3 position switch though? Mine is a single
momentary press switch which cycles through the open/stop/close/stop
sequence. You might need to feed back door status (off the stop switches
and motor power perhaps) in order to be sure it's being closed when you
think it is!
