Utterly agree. I'm using mine for playing back MPEG videos from the
server, but they haven't replaced my Rio Receivers.

There's a lot of potential in the boxes for a bit of kernel hacking,
but, as ever, it's a time issue.

Like the Rios they boot a remote kernel first, and it's that kernel
that connects to the media server. Now, if that kernel could provide a
better menu system, that would be nice :-)
