Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to interface a VIOM
with girder?

Simon,

I can recomend the VIOM as well. I have been using it for some months
now with Homeseer. Although as Kevin says it can be programmed to work
standalone as well. Very reliable piece of kit.

Photo of my unit with two relay boards, I will have two VIOMs when I get
the second one mounted...

At the moment using it for Mag Locks and door contacts but intend to use
if for external scene lighting (SON lamps) as well.

Nigel

Hi Simon,

If you are happy with a serial control link then take a look at a=20
product from Phaedrus called the VIOM this is a very capable input=20
output device with 16 inputs, 16 outputs and 8 timers plus an expansion=20
relay board option. It has some inbuilt 'smarts' too to handle local=20
actions. Cost is =A342 +Vat (=A315 for the relay board)

Very popular in the UKHA community
