125v! Yes I did spot that in the catalogue Clive pointed me at. Mmmm.
Maybe it's not an L5-50 after all I need! :-)

I have the plug end and I'm looking for the socket - I don't even see
anything like it in the Hubbell catalogue. Back to the drawing board.

Newark electronics, there is a UK branch, dont know phone number, sorry.

R is socket (receptacle), P is plug.

L5-30R 125V isolated ground socket, type IG2610A, Newark part number
34F1158. Mounts in a J-Box.

The IG series are isolated ground, and are always orange. Orange, so
you can tell them apart from any other similar connector, all of which
will intermate.

I say again, Houston, 125V.

Not familiar with isolated ground, but a google for "isolated
ground"
turns up some explanations.

This all sounds very dodgy to me, I would definitely install a RCD to
supply this, as this sounds like a "clean earth" type system,
with
limited fault current capabilities.

I did say that this was a 125V connector, didn't I?
