Hi Guys
Just got back from the Intelligent Home show and of course my
main interest was to look at the CBUS kit.......The wire less kit looks
quite good (really like the remote shape) and if it works as well as it
looks i think Clipsal are on a winner........The DLT / Saturn switch at
first glance reminded me of the JDS Stargate keypads.....As well as having
the label programmable there is provision to select 8 switches for CBUS
Group/Scene over two pages........

They had the CBUS Multi room audio which comprises of two pieces of
hardware an audio switcher and an amplifier ....Speaking to one of the reps
it looks like its not going to be released till June next year...The colour
touchscreen looked nice and i think the rep stated it wouldnt be released
till march next year and of course the wireless stuff is getting released
end of this month.......

Had a look at the other lighting stands such as Dynalite ABB HPM and to be
honest IMHO their switches dont come close to Clipsal kit for looks .....

The Microsoft Media Centre Demo was quite interesting and i seen my first
shuttle pc (i want one ).....Now looking forward to the Clipsal Wireless
launch at the end of the month......
There were quite a few audio demos there such as Sonnace Speakers ,Kef
?....Knoll....

Did take some pics of the CBUS Kit with my new Canon camera just got to
work out how to use the software and load them on the pc .............

Frank
