recommended security hardware supplier?

Hi All,
I really want a Comfort alarm system but can't justify the cost at
the moment. I want to put in a reasonable system with a remote panel
and LCD keypad. I have most of the wire laid as I did this when
laying coax and CAT5.
Can anyone suggest suppliers who will sell to the general public?
Anything with the phone features of comfort at a slightly lower cost
would be great.
