Help with AV connections

Hi all,

I posted this on AV forums, but have had no response...hoping you
guys can come up with something for me!

I'm trying to connect up the following equipment for a friend:

o Sky box with SCART output
o VCR with SCART output
o Playstation 2 with out-of-the-box cable (composite or SCART video
o adaptor without pin-8 switching)
o XBox with out-of-the-box cable (composite or SCART video adaptor
without pin-8 switching)
o Sony DAV-S400 DVD player and surround system - has a composite
video output for the DVD signal

This will all be going into an as yet unpurchased Panasonic TH-
42PW7B screen (so not selected connection boards yet).

Question is, minimising cable runs to the plasma (all other kit
together), what's the optimum cabling? I've tried using a SCART
switcher (one that uses pin 8) and this obviously doesn't work with
the consoles or the DVD signal...

Cheers,

Keith
