Re: Hole Cutting Advice Needed
A "Starrett" hole cutter is the "industry standard".
Available in a vast
range of sizes. You will also need an arbor (the bit that goes in to the
drill, on to which the hole saw is mounted)
Available from all good toolshops.
Don't go near the cheap DIY ones with split blades. They last no time at
all
and often require tightening up several times whilst cutting one single
hole.
If you are cutting large holes (bigger than about 25mm), you will need a
reasonable mains drill. Most battery drills simply don't have the torque
needed to cut larger holes
