automating roller blinds

I have been using an 'add a motor' to automate a blackout roller blind in
the cinema room.
http://www.hometech.com/drape/addmotor.html.
Having trouble getting it to stop consistently as its a large drop (2m) and
the cord tends to slip.

Have been looking at alternatives and this looks like it might give better
control (somfy motor):

Anyone any experience of using?

TIA

John
