I thought I had beeter post something on topic for once!!!

with the installation of my CBUS setup I am planning to move the
consumer unit from the Hallway to the garage, after much discussion
with the Electric board etc I have been told that as I want the wires
to run for a distance greater than 1M that they either need to be in
metal trunking or amoured cable.

I am going down the armoured cable route (trunking is a non starter
due to location), before I order about 50M of 25mm cabe can somebody
confirm that this is okay in terms of the IEEE regs??

Also are there any other rules I need to be aware of??
Cheers

Paul
