RE: [OT]hosed my PC trying to load media edition HELP

Why not write your own competing product targeted to a UNIX environment
then?
Why continue with such a junk OS?

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT]hosed my PC trying to load media edition HELP

Hi,

I tried to upgrade my home pc from XP pro to media edition and it
stuck half way through the upgrade. Now no matter what I do it seems
to jump to the same upgrade install and hangs. I have tried selecting
install to another partition, clean install etc etc but it just jumps
back to the same fault.

OK, so I hold up my hand that I have not backed up but I do have all
of the data spread across various machines at home but would like to
avoid a reformat of the disk.

This stuff just does not happen with UNIX!!!! Arrrgg I hate Bill
Gates!

Any suggestions would be VERY welcome.

Thanks cap in hand for assistance with the MS junk OS.
