It's a complete Ethernet interface and 16it Microcontroller in a package
IIRC digikey have the evaluation demo PCB for =A347 +VAT

Holy Smoking Microchips batman! I ordered a couple samples off the
freescale website this morning, and just got an email notification that
the=

have already shipped Fedex. Thats about 6 hours turnaround on *samples*.
Impressive. Most impressive. Microchip has taught them well.
On a side note, this will be my first attempt at using a QFP chip. Any
gotchas?
