Fw: BT Openworld - Can I just plug a router in?

Same firmware I downgraded to (it's a beta)
I can cope with it dropping the WAN connection everynow and again, but
when the LAN goes, it doesnt come back (under 1.05)

On the flip side, we have about 30 of these with our home users(well,
about
15 834s and 15 824s), and really haven't had many issues at all; those we
do
have are mostly set-up issues or user induced. I'm on firmware v1.04.01
if
that makes a difference, connected for 301 hrs (following a config change
by
me).

I got one of these via work (they pay for it)
I have to say - it's not good. Had to downgrade the firmware - which has
stopped the LAN from disappearing when it feels like ! You have to unplug
the box.
And it constantly drops the connection
Just an FYI. And as there are many of us who have this router (via work)
I'm not alone.

OK bit simplified but it was a doodle (or dodo as my spellchecker
suggested)
