The Reset switch is in the hole next to the upper of the two green LEDs on
the back of the unit, next to the Ethernet port.
It's labelled 'RESET' if that helps ;-)
Mine is in bits on the floor at the moment, but when it's back together and
I I connected it to a network I'll try out the password reset tip
I'm not sure when that'll be though :-S

can't see any such reset switch on my MV1000 I'm afraid. Even if I could
reset it I foresee some further problems.
1. I'd have to hook it back up to a PC initially with a serial cable to
configure it.
2. There's no cameras attached to mine now so browser access won't work
either. Sorry, not much help I know...

From memory there is a small reset switch recessed below by the
power fuse
and LEDs. If you keep it pushed for a few seconds you should see
the LED
flash green and then go off for 40 seconds and then relight. The
passwords
should then be set to nw-admin.
