David

I have just moved into my new house, and like yourself, we built this from
scratch. I designed the house in such a way that I have straight runs of
conduit from at least 2 positions in each room, up to the attic. This means
walking across the attic floor, it looks lie I'm growing conduit:)
[although
you cant see it anymore with insulation] I can now completely re-wire all
my
phone/network/TV etc points whenever I need to, so fibre in 5 years is no
issue.

There was a lot of extra work involved, a lot of extra tracking, (+++extra
cost) but it was well worth it! - this computer is currently connected in a
position which I had no intention of wiring for a PC, but I had the
flexibility to do it....

Hope that helps

Simon
