A10 protocol in the UK ?

  • Subject: A10 protocol in the UK ?

Does any one know more about the A10 protocol and availability of
units in the UK?

>From what I've seen ( http://www.smarthomeusa.com/info/a10/a10/
) it
sounds like a extension to the x10 protocol which address many of
x10's shortcomings, status reporting, acknowledgement of receipt of
instruction etc. Also backwardly compatible although I'm not sure
about a10 support for my ocelot controller.

Don't know if it's a new idea and that explains the lack of uk
devices or if it's died a death / another us centric idea.

Kind Regards,

Alan.
