Patrick,

that's a perfectly acceptable (and good) answer that must be accepted by
anyone. I understand it perfectly. I make my living from embedded
development and software architecture and charge for my time or for
hardware I sell. I try to GPL as much as possible (this is very true for
VSCP) but that's because I have the other ways to fill ( or more exact to
keep the saldo from being a negative number... ;.) ) my bank account.
