Thankyou!

(4th attempt to send this!!!)

Thankyou to all the exhibitors who came to Hatfield this weekend, even over
the course of a weekend I didn't get round to see everything. I missed a
full demo of Keith's kat5 switcher, but I enjoyed the special feature on
Saturday night ...

I was impressed by the Idratek stuff, and I could probably get used to the
way it looked, but I liked the way it wasn't dependant on running cable
back to a central point, but it did suffer from the same problem as all
these bus systems, it's difficult to retrofit into a house without a lot of
mess & running of new cables, of course it remains to be seen how well
it performs compared to CBus & other established bus systems.

It was great to get to meet everyone, which is the main reason I came down
this weekend, I really enjooyed speaking and swapping ideas with people,
and just earwigging on what others were talking about.

Thanks to Ken for coming out of his way to pick me up, more nattering about
HA and swapping ideas both on the way there and back home again.

Most of all I would like Graham & Mark, and everyone else involved in
organising the event, well done!! I know Graham was a bit stressed Graham
was in the build up, but it was all worth it!! (Even if you didn't get your
XBox :-)

Thanks!!
