Just a case of a solenoid or electric deadbolt, a 1-wire PIC circuit, an
ibutton touch pad and if you add in a bit of xPL you can even log the
activity.

All sorted.

I've been thinking that I'd like to add some deadbolts to our doors
(wooden frames), and link these into CBus / Comfort. LA don't do anything
like this, so I'm assuming it would be a fairly simple affair to actuate
such a device if i could find one ?

Be nice to control the side gate to the house and front/back doors and
even the garage with a deadbolt that is set in , say away mode. Although
how would you open the door when you want to get in needs some thinking
:-)

Anyone use such a device ?
