Re: connecting nokia 3310 to pc to send sms



Hi Stephen

My impression of some of the earlier Nokia phones, was that you need a
driver installed on the PC that accepts AT commands and then internally
controls the phone. Not 100% sure how it works, but installing the
driver allowed me to communicate with it via standard AT commands. Check
out the Nokia website

Anyway, I don't think the 3310 has any kind of data access in the first
place. I don't use the term MODEM here, as strictly speaking, mobile
phones don't have any actual analogue type modem in them.
