RE: Geovision
I haven't used that.. I tried to keep everything real simple but... :-(
I had a nightmare in the early days as Hyperthreading killed Geovision but
once it was up and running everything was fine.. I think the overheating
thing makes sense and have opened up the case and cleared the area around
the system so it can breathe.. It is stuffed under a desk at the moment
which is poor skills but I have free space issues here...

Have you tried the Geovision tech support people - I've found them pretty
helpful.
I wonder if the Geovision s/w settings have corrupted somehow and it's
forcing the reboot? Have you also checked the reset cable to the card -
maybe it's 'wobbly'?
