Re: manage a database of recipes

Thats number 2 on my 'interesting list of things to do' from SWMBO. She
wants it to look something like the Sainsburys site where you can search
for recipe's based on any ingredients (http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/ and
follow 'recipe search' ). I was thinking of Access as well!

Number one on my list should be simpler - a shopping list that can be
entered into the touchscreen PC by selecting from a list of what we
normally buy.

I've got another SWMBO list as well. Its got things on it like 'paint
bathroom', 'dig garden pond' -:(

She thinks its one list and everything will be done eventually - I know
different -:)

Subject: [ukha_d] manage a database of recipes

Hi All,

I have been given a task by SHMBO to scan in and store all of her
recipes on the home server. She wants to be able to search by main
ingredient or keyword. I want to keep the scans as an image but store
the data in a small database (Access?). Just trying to justify a
tablet PC for the Kitchen ;-)

Can any one suggest software that would make this easy?

Many Thanks
Ian
