RE: manage a database of recipes

Sounds like a pretty big task! Just the scanning alone - of course you
need to test each recipe as you go. Just let the group know when the
tasting sessions are! ;)

Subject: [ukha_d] manage a database of recipes

Hi All,

I have been given a task by SHMBO to scan in and store all of her
recipes on the home server. She wants to be able to search by main
ingredient or keyword. I want to keep the scans as an image but store
the data in a small database (Access?). Just trying to justify a
tablet PC for the Kitchen ;-)

Can any one suggest software that would make this easy?

Many Thanks
Ian
