Re: FW: [OT] Rapidhoster Pop3 config
Tim,
I use the following. You'll need to substitute your domain name for
ascentium.co.uk :-)
- Incoming Server Type: POP3 (though I understand that IMAP works quite
well
as well)
- Incoming Server name: mail.ascentium.co.uk
- Outgoing Server name: mail.ascentium.co.uk
- Incoming Mail Server logon details
- Username: My "Rapidhoster" username, in my case
"ascent" (the u/n I use to
log onto their support site)
- Password: My Rapidhoster password, which I'm not going to tell you :-)
- Outgoing mail server: Tick the "requires authentication"
- Then click "advanced" and set the username / password settings
as per
incoming.
If you get a problem, drop me an email off-list with your mobile number,
and
I'll talk you through it...
OE makes it hard to check settings while writing an email :-)
M.
