RE: {Spam?} RE: [OT] Anyone heard of OEM-CD before?

I think you're right with what you say about OEM S/W, but this is
frequentl=
y
abused, or at least twisted. E.g., in a moment of madness I bought
something fro that highly reputably retailer Scan. By purchasing a =A37
mo=
dem
card, that entitled me to an OEM version of XP Pro, which I use to this

.
I've just taken another look at the site, and they now specify that you
nee=
d
to buy an HD or MB to get the OEM s/w.

Are you going to give them a go Dave? The only suspicious thing, other
tha=
n
the prices, is that the FAQ states the s/w comes from Eastern Europe.
Hmmm...

No, not heard of them before,

IIRC, you can only ship OEM (original equipment manufacture - I think..)
software if you're a system builder or it has to acompany some
hardware...don't think its 'ok' to sell it on its own...

Good prices though!!

Although OT, it is applicable to my new, hopefully arriving
soon,
touch screen PC.

Has anyone heard of this company before. The prices seem to
good to be
true and with free shiping, even more so.
