RE: OT Digital Camera Advice

I had the same decision a couple of months ago and more or less the same
choices. I went for the P12. I went snowboarding with it and it took
more then its fair share of knocks without a problem. Sample photos
available if you want

Subject: [ukha_d] OT Digital Camera Advice

Hi all,

I am looking for a digital camera to take on holiday with me next week,
the main criteria are small and robust as it will need to go in the
pocket of my ski jacket and I'm not that good a skier lol

So far have a short list of

Sony Cybershot P12 (P10 with an extra battery and carry case)

Cannon Powershot S45

Cannon Powershot S50

OR

Sony T1 which I really like the look of but not sure on the image
quality in such a compact form factor

At minute I am almost convinced to go with the P12 as I will be able to
reuse memory sticks I have for my digital video camera but would like to
hear people's opinions of it.

Is there something that should be on my shortlist that I have missed??

Regards

Paul
