Re: Attic Server

Its a PE2600 Tower, which has 5 fans in total which makes it very
noisy even when in another room. One is located on the cooling
shround, whilst the other 4 are split between 2 fan assemblies near
the SCSI backplane board and attached to the back of the chassis.
I may try disabling the fans and seeing what impact this has on the
temperature as I'd prefer to keep it downstairs, otherwise I may
wait until I install an ensuite shower in the bedroom below and put
in an extractor / heater as matthew suggested.
