Initially, I would've agreed, but then I remembered a test I did. I've got
a Linksys WAP11 and I put this in a metal locker with steel sides approx.
1.5 mm thick. Closed the lid and saw very little, if any signal degradation
when monitoring via NetStumbler.

Dunno why it worked as I was expecting the signal to disappear, but it
didn't. Odd eh ?

YMMV, of course :-)
