Don't get the Tomtom bluetooth dongle with the 2210/2215, just do a google
search for

"tomtom 2210 bluetooth drop"

This combination is a disaster! I have it and talk about useless, frequent
dropouts, lost connections, etc. Seems to be some sort of problem with the
Wildcomm bluetooth driver in the version of the OS on the 2210. Hopefully
they'll sort it some day, but it appears to be dragging on since last July!

Apparently the serial connection works fine though.

I bought my iPaq in the US (5555) and have also purchased one for my
father,
they were a lot cheaper, I got Amazon to deliver to my office there.

I think for the most part they are basically the same as the UK ones, just
a
different model number. It works just fine with everything I have tried it
with.

Can't speak for the GPS dongle as I got mine over here.

Now that I'm looking for PDA and GPS stuff, I looked over the pond and
prices seem a little cheaper. I'm flying in to Chicago on Monday and
wondered if I should do a little shopping :-)

So, is there any problem (other than warranty) with buying an iPAQ H2200
instead of 2100 in this country? Also the TomTom bluetooth GPS, will that
work fine in this country (obviously with local maps).
