[OTish] Solar powered access points.

I'm looking to start powering some of my PC stuff using solar power=20
(maybe it will help bring the leccy bill down a bit!). Initially, I=20
want to start with the wireless AP and router to explore=20
sutiability.=20=20

Just wondering if anyone has a clue as to how to do this! MAplin=20
sell some nice 3V panels for =A34 - the router is 9V so if I link 3=20
panels together would it work?=20=20

Alternatively, is my best bet using the panels to slow charge a=20
battery that feeds the AP?

Just a thought, as it would be useful for remote deployment of AP's=20
in a mesh environment for local communitites.

I am, as usual, trying to do this as cheap as possible (looked at=20
generating 2.2KwP a day - but that costs =A326k!  Bit steep=20
concidering it only knock =A3100 a year off the leccy bill!).

Cheers,

Matt
