25LTR would be ample. You might even get away with 2 x 5ltr cans but it
wil=
l
cost you as much as 25 LTR's!! And its handy stuff for brush cleaning and
such. Do a google for automotive paint factors in your area. Or look for a
Partco, Brown Brothers store in your yellow pages.

Remember that solvent soaked rags are also very flammable and in fact the
vapour will spontaneously combust near heat (The vapour is the flammable
bit!). Ideally allow then to dry in the open air before disposing of them
o=
r
place in a metal bin.

Right an update on the situation.

The vinyl tiles are coming up well with a Hot Air Gun and a 1.5"=20
scraper.

I can then remove most of the black TAR with a wider blade scraper with=20
a razor blade in it. This leaves a thin film of the TAR.

So I have got 2 options now.

1. See if a tile sticks well to this surface

or

2. Go down the thinners and rag route to remove the rest of the TAR.

I have got 18m2 of floor to clean, any guess as to how much thinners to=20
get? and secondly where do I buy thinners in Berkshire?

Cheers all
Ben
