Thanks Rob, but sadly the Slim server download page says:

"Apple Music Store Music purchased from the Apple Music Store (.m4p
files) is protected with a proprietary DRM and cannot be played back
using SlimServer until Apple provides the necessary hooks to third
parties. In the mean time, it is possible to burn your Apple Music
Store songs to CD and re-rip them."

-- which is ok as a work around, but less than ideal.
